A Love Letter Disguised as a Space Movie

Summary — Nolan’s most emotional film: sci-fi spectacle wrapped around a story about a father and daughter separated by gravity itself.

Interstellar is the rare blockbuster that earns every minute of its runtime. Hans Zimmer’s organ-driven score does enormous emotional work, and the docking sequence is still breathless. The third act is metaphysical and a little hand-wavy, but the film commits so fully that the feeling lands. A five-star comfort rewatch with cosmic scale.
