Summary — A strange episode with some fun penguin moments, but not enough of the classic Finn and Jake adventure I enjoy most.
This was a strange one. I usually like Adventure Time most when Finn and Jake are at the center and having one of their classic adventures, and this episode just didn’t have enough of them for me.
I don’t find Ice King’s adventures as interesting, and I’m also less into the episodes that lean toward love stories. Even with all the fighting and weirdness here, that relationship was still a big part of the story.
The real stars were the penguins, though. They’re cool and probably my favorite part of the episode. Overall, it had some fun weird moments, but I’d rather have more Finn, Jake, and a classic Finn and Jake adventure.
