Obama's Cameo Makes It Worth Watching
Summary — A mostly underwhelming episode that was redeemed by an unexpected Obama appearance and a funny tan-suit skit that fit the show's style well.
This wasn't a particularly strong episode overall, and for a while I wasn't very impressed with it. The highlight was the unexpected appearance by Barack Obama. I genuinely didn't expect to see him show up, and that surprise alone grabbed my attention.
The tan-suit skit was the best part of the episode. It's a funny piece of Obama lore, and I thought the show used that source material well. The premise fit the tone of the series, and the jokes landed better than most of the rest of the episode. In the end, the Obama segment made the episode worth watching for me. I'm still interested enough to come back and see what the next episode does.
