Summary — Slick production values couldn't overcome weak characters, unfunny writing, and a story that never clicked for me.
I gave this episode two stars because, while it's clearly a high-budget production with impressive visuals, almost everything else fell flat for me. The story still isn't working, and I don't find the characters interesting or funny. The acting, especially from the larger male character, often felt stiff, almost like he was reading lines instead of performing them. Maybe that's intentional and part of the show's style, but it didn't land for me.
I also realized I still don't understand who many of these characters are. The blonde woman seemed like she was supposed to be an important or funny reveal, but without any background, the moment meant nothing to me. The multiverse concept has potential, and I can imagine it working in another series, but it isn't coming together here.
The biggest compliment I can give it is that I watched the entire episode. Normally, if I'm not enjoying a show, I stop before the end, so there is something engaging about the production itself. Unfortunately, the humor, characters, and story just aren't enough to make me want to continue. This will probably be my last episode.
