Summary — Ricardio the Heart Guy returns in an episode that starts mid-fight with no setup and a surprisingly graphic battle — but Lady Rainicorn shines and the closing pregnancy reveal is a real cliffhanger.
Ricardio the Heart Guy is back — the George Takei-voiced heart from Season 1, still trying to marry Princess Bubblegum — and this episode drops us straight into the middle of the fight with zero setup. It genuinely feels like we missed an episode: PB and Lady Rainicorn are already deep in his lair when it starts, and nobody explains how any of them got there.
The fight itself is more graphic than I'd like from a morning cartoon. Ricardio spends the episode attacking and poisoning people, and his big motivation reveal is... he wants a wife. It's a terrible plan aimed at the worst possible target — Bubblegum is the most caring person in Ooo, so terrorizing people to impress her just proves he doesn't know her at all.
Lady Rainicorn is the highlight, and the closing reveal that she's pregnant lands as a genuine cliffhanger. Messy start, strong finish.
