A-Hole or Culture Clash?

Summary — Lemongrab's harsh lemon ways collide with Candy Kingdom norms, and PB's fix — cloning him — works instantly but never really proves its own thesis about whether different cultures can coexist.

This one's about what happens when two cultures collide: Lemongrab's harsh lemon operating system against the Candy Kingdom's soft norms. PB tries everything — sends him the Pup Gang as subjects (he electrocutes them), tries to teach him empathy by cuddling a baby (he pokes and slaps it, screaming). None of it works, because he's not just being difficult — he genuinely runs on different moral hardware.

PB's solution is to clone him. Lemongrab 2, on the theory that what he needs is someone like himself. And it works, instantly — they poke each other, nuzzle, become best friends, everybody goes home.

But the episode never really proves its own thesis. If the two lemons genuinely get along long-term, this is a story about different cultures being valid in their own ways. If not, it's just a jerk who got exiled creatively. The show seems to know the answer is complicated — it comes back to this later. Either way, it's a strong episode that trusts its audience with a real question instead of a moral.
